The biggest problem block the faster organic development of China's economy is the copy & clone, especially from the industry of entertainment likely movie & music, software and medicine. The legal environment in China started only from 1979. For the reason of capturing more foreign investment, the government stops to operate the country with the political power at that time, but the law. And after joined the WTO, the government even keep of changing herself to suit for the international rules.

Now, the copyright law is as good as European union or America especially from the data exclusivity & patent linkage rules. The only problem is the implementation of the law. Since the different state or city government capture the different meaning of the law.

The situation of the copy industries are under diminishing. Don't forget 30 years ago, there were also a lot of the copy stuffs in Japan, Taiwan & Hong Kong.
